INTERIOR TEENAGER'S ROOM

Teenager walks into her bedroom. She tosses her jacket on the bed and stares at her mobile
phone. She crosses to the window in her bedroom and looks out of it.

TEENAGER'S POV -- BACK GARDEN

From her room on the first floor, the teenager can see into her back garden.

She thinks she sees someone momentarily but partially obscured by an object [eg. trees] in the
back garden

ANGLE ON TEENAGER

She freezes and looks away fearfully.

TEENAGER'S POV -- BACK GARDEN

She looks outside again, but now the figure is gone.

ANGLE ON TEENAGER

She closes the curtains/shutters and slowly walks to the middle of her room and stands there for
several moments, unsure as to whether she has actually seen it.

Suddenly, her mobile phone RINGS, loud and shrill, startling her.

She answers it.

TEENAGER

Hello?

Silence.

TEENAGER

Hello?

There is a wheezing/breathing SOUND coming from the receiver....

TEENAGER

(continuing)

Who is this?

The wheezing continues. She hangs up.

Almost immediately, the phone RINGS again. She looks at it. It keeps ringing. She answers it.

TEENAGER

Hello?

TEENAGER'S FRIEND (V.O.)

Why did you hang up on me?

TEENAGER

[Insert name], was that you?

TEENAGER'S FRIEND (V.O.)

Of course.

TEENAGER

Why didn't you say anything? You scared me to death!

TEENAGER'S FRIEND (V.O.)

I had my mouth full. Couldn't you hear me?

TEENAGER

I thought it was an obscene phone call.

TEENAGER'S FRIEND (V.O.)

You're losing it, [insert name].

TEENAGER

I've already lost it!

TEENAGER'S FRIEND (V.O.)

I doubt that. Listen, my mum is letting me use her car. I'll pick you up. 6:30.

TEENAGER

Sure, see you later.

TEENAGER'S FRIEND (V.O.)

Bye.

She hangs up

TEENAGER (to herself)

Calm down. This is ridiculous!

Risk assessment

The two obvious risks that stood out to me when I was asked what kind of potential risks are there in the place that we're filming is the windows due to the hight of the room and spillages with the devices. Both are quite easy to control and probably won't happen but is still possible. Before production I'll make sure none of these two things happen and prevent this by cleaning up the room as well as closing the windows.
